No Cure!
While that is true, there is no cure yet, we aren't doomed to a life of anxiety, panic attacks, and relentless noise in our ears. But if we can't cure it, what can we do?
We can learn to better manage our symptoms which will lower the severity and impact tinnitus has on our lives.
Better Symptom Management
What does it mean to manage symptoms? Symptom management is something we don't talk about enough. But what it really means is that we learn effective ways to better manage how we think about tinnitus, what to do when we have an acute episode where it seems louder, and how to help ourselves on a daily basis.
What's the Point?
The point is that we can actually reduce the negative impact that tinnitus has on our daily lives. The goal is to feel like you are living again and not plagued by the incessant ringing, buzzing, miserable sounds that tinnitus has brought into our lives.
The point is that we CAN feel better! There is hope and there is much we can do to lessen the negative impact tinnitus has on our lives.
